Two prisoners have escaped from pre-trial detention center No. 1 in Yekaterinburg, Russia, APA's Russian bureau reports.
According to preliminary information, the escaped prisoners are charged with terrorism.
24-year-old Alexander and 25-year-old Ivan have been in prison since last year. They tried to set fire to the military commissariats of the Kirovsky and Oktyabrsky districts of Yekaterinburg - they came to the building with a five-liter canister of gasoline, but were caught by special services officers. They were promised 40,000 rubles for the fire.
Security forces accused them of attempting to commit a terrorist act, as well as attempting to make open calls for terrorist activities, publicly justifying terrorism or promoting terrorism.
