The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the 11th meeting of the High-Level Working Group on the Caspian Sea on September 15, APA reports.
The session was attended by representatives from Azerbaijan, including Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov, as well as officials from Iran, Kazakhstan, and Russia. The Turkmen delegation was led by M. G. Atajanov.
During the meeting, participants reviewed cooperation in the Caspian Sea and discussed preparations for the next foreign ministers’ meeting. They also considered establishing a working group of littoral states to address the issue of Caspian Sea shallowing.
