After a 14-year hiatus, the tourist ferry between Russia and Türkiye is resuming operations, APA’s Russia bureau reports.
The Sochi-Trabzon sea ferry route is restoring its service after a long break. The first trip of the resort ferry carrying tourists after the 14-year pause is scheduled for November 5. The travel time is approximately 12 hours, and trips will operate twice a week – on Mondays and Thursdays. The ferry can accommodate up to 450 passengers, and ticket prices start from 6,000 rubles.
Note that the ferry line from Sochi to Trabzon operated from 1993 until 2011.
