Tensions continue in Donbass

Tensions continue on the contact line between the Ukrainian army and the separatist "Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics", APA reports.

The information center of the United Forces of Ukraine announced that Donetsk and Luhansk separatists violated the ceasefire eight times over the past day.

It was noted that the separatists fired at Luganskaya, Novozvanovka, Lobachevo, and Vodyanoy settlements with small arms and mortars.

However, the opposite side said that the Ukrainian army fired on 9 settlements in two hours.

The separatists in the Donbas said there were skirmishes with the Ukrainian army in the settlements of Kominternovo, Oktyabr, Novolaspa, Petrovskoe, Veselenkoe, which are under the control of the "DPR", and Nizhny Lozovoe, Sokolniki, Donetsk, and others of the "LPR".

Grenades and mortars were reportedly used in the shootings.
