A Su-30 military aircraft crashed in the Republic of Karelia , the Russian Defense Ministry reported, APA reports.
The crew of the aircraft were killed, the ministry said.
"Today, at approximately 19:00 Moscow time, a Su-30 aircraft crashed in Karelia while performing a scheduled training flight," the ministry said.
The agency's statement notes that the plane crashed in an uninhabited area and the flight was carried out without ammunition.
