A state of emergency has been declared in the Russian city of Novorossiysk, located in the Krasnodar region, the city’s mayor announced, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to the statement, Ukraine carried out a mass drone attack on Novorossiysk earlier today. The strikes caused damage to residential buildings and vehicles.
Local authorities confirmed that two civilians were killed and eight others were injured in the attack.

Two civilians have been killed and three others injured as a result of a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Novorossiysk, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Krasnodar Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratyev stated that five residential buildings, including apartment complexes and a hotel, were damaged. “The attack is still being repelled,” the governor added.
