Six-Year-Old boy found dismembered in Moscow Pond; Mother arrested and charged with Murder

A resident of Balashikha near Moscow wrote a confession of the murder of her six-year-old son, APA reports, citing Izvestia.

According to the investigation, the woman not only killed the child, but also dismembered his body, after which she threw the remains into the Golyanovsky Pond in Moscow. The motives of the crime remain unclear — the suspect could not give them a clear explanation. According to the Investigative Committee, the woman was detained under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Murder").

Currently, investigators have seized physical evidence, including knives, and have ordered a complex of forensic examinations. The suspect will be sent for psychiatric examination to establish her sanity at the time of the crime. The investigation is ongoing.

The day before, it was reported that fragments of a child's body were found in a backpack in Golyanovsky Pond in Moscow and a criminal murder case was opened into the incident. Later, Izvestia reported that the decapitated boy, according to preliminary information, was killed by his mother's roommate, and the woman was an accomplice to the crime. It was noted that the body was found on the balcony.

The boy's grandmother informed the police after, according to her, her daughter's roommate took the child away from home and he did not return. Later, police officers took the boy's mother out of the entrance and put her in a car.

Neighbors of the murdered boy's family also noted that there were frequent scandals and screams in the apartment. According to the residents of the house, the boy's mother often behaved outside the box and gave the impression of a person with psychological problems.
