Military Investigation Department of the Armenian Investigative Committee made a decision on detaining several Armenian servicemen fleeing from combat post during provocation on the border of Armenia with Azerbaijan on November 16, according to the statement of Armenian Investigative Committee, APA reports citing TASS.
The statement reads that ensign and two soldiers serving in the combat on November 16, 2021, violated organizing and conducting rules of military service, as a result, personnel fled the combat positions and the Azerbaijani Armed Forces took control of those battle positions.
As well as it is noted that as a result of preliminary investigations, 4 military servicemen from personnel of combat post were detained. In addition, charges were brought against the battalion commander and his deputy, who guarded the area.
