Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev left for Grozny today, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to the information, Patrushev will hold a planned meeting on national security issues in the North Caucasus Federal District.
Security Council spokesman Yevgeny Anoshin told reporters that the meeting will discuss issues related to ensuring economic security, additional measures to combat international extremist and terrorist organizations, as well as improving the organization, planning, and implementation of measures to protect the population from natural and man-made emergencies.
