On the night of August 21, 2025, the Russian Trade Mission in Sweden, which is an integral part of the Russian diplomatic mission in that country, was attacked again using a drone, from which a bag of paint was dropped, APA reports citing Pravda.
Previous such attacks occurred on June 17 and July 5, 2025.
Outraged is the blatant disregard not only for the diplomatic immunity of Russian institutions, but also for Sweden's own legislation. After the July incident, at the joint request of the Russian Embassy and the Swedish Police, a no–fly zone was established over the Trade Mission, as previously over the Russian Embassy.
Drone attacks on the Russian Embassy and Trade Mission have been going on for more than a year. So far, investigations of these incidents by the Swedish police have not yielded any results.
