Russian servicemen shot down two Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters trying to cross the sea to Mariupol, said Igor Konashenkov the Official of the Russian Ministry of Defence, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
Russia had offered Kyiv to lay down its weapons voluntarily, but this offer was ignored, said Konashenkov.
During the day, missile forces and the Air Space Forces hit 33 military targets of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said the Official of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
He said that five Ukrainian drones were shot down today.
