Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in China, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
During the meeting, Putin stated that his country highly values the developed relations between Russia and Pakistan.
Putin noted that Pakistan has been and remains Russia’s traditional partner in Asia.
Shehbaz Sharif, in turn, said that Pakistan respects the strong relations between Russia and India and wishes to establish similar mutual ties. He also mentioned that he would be pleased to visit Russia in the fall to participate in the SCO events.
