A telephone conversation has been held between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports citing Kremlin Press Service.
Discussion of situation around Karabakh has been continued during the phone conversation, which has been held at the initiative of the Armenian side.
"Importance of consistent implementation of trilateral statements among Russian, Armenian, and Azerbaijani leaders dated November 9, 202, January 11 and November 26, 2021, has once more confirmed. At the same time, role of Russian peacekeeping contingent in provision of stability in the region has been noted.
Some current issues of future development of strategic partnership and alliance relations between Russia and Armenia have been touched upon," reads the Kremlin press release.
