Russian MFA: Moscow and Baku are also in solidarity in countering attempts to glorify Nazism

Russia and Azerbaijan support each other on international platforms like the UN and OSCE, noted in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, APA reports.

"Attention is focused on the fact that the positions of Moscow and Baku in international affairs are close or largely coincide: “We are closely cooperating within the framework of the CIS, interacting in the context of integration processes in the Eurasian space. On international platforms, including the UN and the OSCE, our countries traditionally support each other, demonstrate a resolute rejection of any manifestations of racism, xenophobia, neo-Nazism, discrimination based on nationality, language or religion. Russia and Azerbaijan are also in solidarity in countering attempts to glorify Nazism and revise the results of the Second World War and falsify history.” noted in the statement.
