“Russia has never refused the mediation offered by the countries related to Ukraine. We consider that the countries that offer mediation, over the past eight years, by using their own prestige could influence Kyiv regime regarding fulfilling its commitments,” said the official representative of Russian MFA Mariya Zakharova while responding to the question on” How does the Russian Foreign Ministry assess the fact that Turkey and Azerbaijan have made proposals to resolve the situation around Ukraine?”, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
“Currently we are considering all constructive proposals. We react to useful initiatives that will lead to some results. On the other side, meeting for the sake of meeting, initiative for the sake of initiative is not an option. Therefore we will consider constructive proposals. However, we express gratitude to everyone who is ready to help diplomatic settlement,” stressed the spokesperson of Russian MFA.
