Ukraine's air defense systems have been destroyed, said Russian Ministry of Defence, APA reports.
“Infrastructure of military bases in Ukraine was destroyed.”
The ministry also added that Ukrainian border guards did not resist the Russian Army.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army said that from 05:00 local time, the Russian military struck airfields in Borispol, Ozernoy, Kulbakin, Chukuevo, Kramatorsk, and Chernobaevka, as well as military facilities.
The statement adds that the Ukrainian army protects its positions
