The issue of the withdrawal of Russia's 102nd military base is not on the agenda of bilateral relations between Armenia and Russia, said Sergey Kopirkin, the ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia, APA reports, citing Armenpress.
“The withdrawal of the 102nd military base is not on the agenda of bilateral relations. The Armenian side has openly stated this at all levels. Russia’s military presence remains a key pillar of Armenia’s security system and an important factor for regional stability. At the same time, our military personnel do not pose any threat to anyone in the region,” the ambassador emphasized.
