Russia's air and space forces have studied the experience of using reconnaissance and strike UAVs in the Garabagh conflict during the 2021 exercises, said Deputy Commander of the Air and Space Forces of the Russian Federation Lieutenant General Andrey Demin in an interview with "Nezavisimoe voennoe obozrenie" (Independent military opinion), APA reports.

According to the general, during this year's exercises in the air and space forces, combat readiness has been improved with the participation of air defense units, including their deployment to the landfill. "The experience of the Garabagh conflict, where UAVs were widely used for the first time, was also studied," he added.

The general said that the experience gained by the Russian Armed Forces in Syria was applied during training at the Ashuluk and Telemba landfills this year.
