Russia refuses to go with Ukraine's tactic of playing the "cat and mouse game in negotiations," said Sergey Lavrov Russian Foreign Minister on Tuesday, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.
Lavrov stated that "the West is attempting to sabotage talks between Russia and Kiev by instilling fear about Bucha," adding that the "provocation" happened right after "the Russian side, as a gesture of goodwill, decided to de-escalate the situation on the ground," during peace talks in Istanbul.
The minister reiterated Russia's readiness to carry on with negotiations, emphasizing, however, that "in order to have real progress, sabotage" needs to stop.
