The Russian Federation Council's Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Konstantin Kosachev repeated on Monday Moscow's claims that the United States is conducting the development of biological weapons, stressing that hundreds of laboratories around the world are in question, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Kosachev also announced the Russian parliamentary commission that deals with the aforementioned matter has formed a special scientific committee to investigate the issue. The meeting of the committee will take place on May 5, he added.
His remarks come amid Russia's claims of the biolabs the US runs around the globe, particularly in Ukraine. It also alleged the financing of such institutions involved the funds linked to US President Joe Biden's son Hunter.
