Russia will support the nomination of the US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, the Kremlin’s aide on international affairs, Yuri Ushakov, said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
The Kremlin official described Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s comments linking "Tomahawk" missiles and Trump’s Nobel Prize as a “terrible idea.”
Ushakov emphasized that Zelenskyy’s statement is surprising.
Note that Zelenskyy had announced that he would nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize if Kyiv receives "Tomahawk" missiles from the US president. He also stated that a ceasefire would be the second condition for Trump’s nomination.
