Russia will begin identifying drones in the sky starting from March next year, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev in an interview with Rossiya 24, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
He said that the ERA and GLONASS systems will be used to identify UAVs.
“Starting from March next year, we will begin identifying drones in the sky, which is very important for people and companies to understand what type of drone is in the air. We will do this using the ERA and GLONASS systems,” the Russian Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
