The Russian army has carried out a massive strike on Ukrainian territory, APA’s Moscow bureau reports, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It was stated that a large-scale attack was carried out against Ukraine’s military‑industrial and energy facilities, including “Kinzhal” missiles.
“The objectives of the attack have been achieved, and all designated targets have been hit,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in its statement.
It should be noted that the “Kinzhal” is Russia’s hypersonic air‑launched missile system. The missile can reach speeds of up to Mach 10 (approximately 12,000 km/h) and can maneuver along its trajectory, which makes it very difficult to intercept. The system is designed to strike stationary and surface targets.
