The Russian Aerospace Forces have carried out strikes on the Main Electronic Intelligence Center of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense located in the city of Brovary in the Kyiv region, as well as on the Starokostyantinov airfield in the Khmelnytskyi region, where F-16 fighter jets are stationed, APA’s Moscow bureau reports, citing the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).
It was stated that Russian forces conducted this operation in response to a provocation by Ukrainian intelligence related to plans to hijack a Russian MiG-31 aircraft.
It was noted that the Russian side carried out strikes on the mentioned targets using “Kinzhal” missiles.
In a statement issued by the Russian Ministry of Defense, it was reported that in response to Kyiv’s MiG-31 provocation, Russian forces conducted a group strike on military targets in Ukraine on the night of November 10.
