Russia has captured new settlements in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, APA’s Moscow bureau reports, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It was stated that Russian forces have taken control of the settlements of Nechayevka in the Dnipropetrovsk region and Tsegelnoye in the Kharkiv region.
In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that it destroyed a convoy of Ukrainian Armed Forces transporting armored vehicles.
"Russian troops have repelled a counterattack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempting to break the encirclement near Blagodatovka in the Kharkiv region.
Russian air defense systems shot down three guided bombs and 206 aircraft-type drones belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a single day. The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost approximately 940 servicemen in the conflict zone in one day," the Russian Ministry of Defense stated.
