Russia is ready to expand cooperation with Iran in all areas, including nuclear cooperation, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on October 20, APA reports, citing IZVESTIYA.
"Russia is certainly ready to expand cooperation with Iran in all areas. Iran is our partner and our relations are developing very dynamically," Peskov said.
According to him, the West has no basis to exert excessive pressure on sovereign Iran.
Putin’s spokesperson emphasized that the situation regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran’s nuclear program is very complicated, and the European Union’s unconstructive stance has further aggravated it.
