Russia is not opposed to discussing a number of Western ideas on security issues, provided that all issues are considered in a complex, without separation from proposals that are important for the Russian Federation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a press conference with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
“At the same time, they (the United States and NATO) have formulated a number of ideas on European security issues – intermediate and shorter-range missiles, military transparency, which Russia is not opposed to discussing. And we are ready to follow the negotiation track, provided that all issues are considered in complex, without breaking away from the main Russian proposals, the implementation of which is an absolute priority for us,” the Russian leader said.
