Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova dismissed on Friday the accusations her country is hindering the export of grain from Ukraine as disinformation, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Zakharova stressed Russia is ready to supply grain to all the countries that need it but is largely unavailable to do so due to the Western sanctions on it, reaffirming Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's previous statement.
Earlier this week, Kiev again accused Russia of using its military operation in Ukraine to steal that country's grain and sell it. Previously, the European Union estimated that about 22 million tons of grain are blocked in Ukraine.
