Russia liquidates blogger Huseyn Hasanov's last company

The Russian Federal Tax Service has liquidated the last company of Azerbaijani blogger Huseyn Hasanov, Life reported citing SHOT, APA reports.

The company in question is "Banda Foods," which Hasanov established in 2023. Although the company produced fast food, the business did not generate income.

SHOT notes that "Banda Foods" was found to have a debt of 800,000 rubles.

Huseyn Hasanov was required to pay off his debt, but he left Russia. On August 20, the Tax Service liquidated Hasanov’s company, “Banda” LLC. The blogger had established the company to sell personal development courses. Additionally, two lawsuits totaling 2 million 675 thousand rubles have been filed against Hasanov’s courses. It was revealed that Hasanov withdrew from the company’s founding shortly before the court proceedings.

Note that on May 14, Huseyn Hasanov was put on a wanted list and sentenced in absentia in a criminal case related to the legalization and laundering of especially large sums of money. Under this charge, the blogger faces up to 7 years in prison.
