"The high-level meeting among Armenia, European Union, and the U.S. causes concerns in Russia," the Spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova said, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

She made a post regarding the Armenia-EU-U.S. meeting expected on April 5 on her Telegram page.

M. Zakharova noted that such events create concerns in Russia: "Because the U.S. and EU representatives are directly telling our partners that their main direction is only being against Russia. Such meetings cause concerns in most countries of the region because they are not directed towards achieving peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, but for the West, with its extremely destructive approaches, to further settle in the South Caucasus, to create new dividing lines there, to force countries to adhere to the anti-Russian agenda, and to disrupt the centuries-old relations with Moscow, and to displacing operating mechanisms of regional security and economic cooperation. Official Yerevan’s not understanding what the conversation is about is a big question. After all, they are turning Armenia into a tool for the realization of the collective West’s extremely dangerous plans in front of the world’s eyes, which is in complete contradiction with the fundamental interests of the Armenian people."
