Russia is confident that India will continue to cooperate with it in the field of energy supplies, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak while commenting on US President Donald Trump's statements regarding Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assurances that his country would not buy Russian oil, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
"We continue to cooperate with our friendly partners. Our energy resource is in demand, it is economically viable, it can be implemented, and I am confident that our partners will continue to work with us, interact, and develop energy cooperation. We only see signals in the media that India will stop buying Russian oil. Our partners say that no one can dictate to them," Novak noted.
