Well-known director and cinematographer Sergey Politik has been murdered in Moscow, APA’s Russia bureau reports, citing local media.
He was stabbed to death in the street.
It was revealed that last Saturday, 56-year-old Politik went out for a smoke in the evening near a residential building on Stalevarov Street in the Ivanovskoye district of the capital. There, he got into an argument with an unknown passerby. The passerby attacked the cinematographer and stabbed him. Politik later died in the hospital.
It has been determined that the perpetrator of the murder is a 33-year-old Armenian Armen S. A criminal case has been opened regarding the incident. Operational measures are currently being carried out to search for and detain the Armenian suspect.
