Kirill Dmitriev, the special representative of the Russian president for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, has proposed connecting the US and Russia with the "Putin-Trump tunnel", APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to Dmitriev, the "Putin-Trump tunnel" between Alaska and Russia could be built within eight years and cost $8 billion using Elon Musk's "The Boring Company" technology.
Dmitriev posted on his "X" social media platform while commenting on documents published about former US President John F. Kennedy.
Dmitriev stated that joint Russian-American projects create jobs and stimulate the economy, and the tunnel through the Bering Strait symbolizes unity and opens up opportunities for joint development of resources.
