"Negotiations with Kyiv are difficult and slow, but Russia is sincerely trying to reach peace as soon as possible," said Russian presidential aide and head of the Russian delegation Vladimir Medinsky, APA reports.
Medinsky said it was necessary to reveal factors that can be compromised from many difficult issues to be solved and move towards a peace agreement.
"We would like the negotiations to be more rapid, which is the sincere desire of the Russian side. We want to reach peace soon. Believe me, the will of our state and the task set by the President is ensuring peace on Ukrainian soil, a peaceful, neutral country without a platform for NATO against us, an outpost that external forces want to harm us."
