Russian President Vladimir Putin accused on Thursday the West of sacrificing peace and creating crises in order to achieve world dominance, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Speaking in a televised address on economic issues, Putin noted the sanctions the West imposed on Russia over its military operation in Ukraine will have global consequences, including the possibility of famine. "Their authors, guided by short-sighted, inflated political ambitions, Russophobia, hit their own national interests o a greater extent, their own economies, the well-being of their citizens," he noted.
