Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced his condition for halting the fighting, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
At a press conference following his visit to Kyrgyzstan, Putin said that the fighting will stop once Ukrainian forces withdraw from the territories they currently occupy.
He emphasized that Russia wants to reach an agreement with Ukraine, but said this is currently not legally possible, and most importantly, such decisions must be recognized at the international level.
Putin stated that Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov are completely encircled.
According to him, Volchansk is almost entirely under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.
The Russian leader noted that in Seversk, the Russian Armed Forces have captured 1,700 out of 8,000 buildings.
Vladimir Putin also added that Russian forces are advancing rapidly northward in the Zaporizhzhia region, have reached Gulyai-Pole, and will continue to move forward.
He warned of a possible collapse of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ front line in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
