Russia almost immediately supported U.S. President Donald Trump’s initiative for a peaceful resolution of the Gaza conflict, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the Russia-Central Asia Summit in Tajikistan, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Putin expressed hope that the plan would be implemented and noted that the American leader’s initiative was positively received in the Arab world from the outset.
He emphasized that Russia maintains reliable relations with Israel, supports a future settlement of the Middle East conflict, and is not interested in any confrontation.
