Many people in the United States are ready to restore or restart cooperation with Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the Eastern Economic Forum, APA reports, citing Russian media
“Russia and the United States can work together in the Arctic. Alaska has natural resources, while Russia possesses effective technologies for gas extraction and liquefaction. In addition, Moscow has good proposals for cooperation with American companies in Alaska,” Putin said.
He also stressed that Russia has never turned away from international economic cooperation and does not create obstacles for anyone.
“A political decision is needed for Russia and the United States to restore economic cooperation,” Putin noted.
