Russian Ambassador to Mauritius, Azerbaijani-born Irada Zeynalova, has been granted the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree to this effect.
The relevant decree was published on Russia's official legal information portal.
It should be noted that Irada Zeynalova is a well-known Russian television journalist. She has worked for many years as a special correspondent, program author and presenter on various Russian television channels. She was appointed Russian Ambassador to Mauritius in September 2024
