Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a disagreement during the CIS summit in Dushanbe, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
This was due to the volume of trade turnover between the two countries.
Speaking about the increase in the volume of trade turnover with the CIS countries, Putin wanted to give an example of turnover with Armenia. He asked Pashinyan about the volume of trade turnover this year.
The Armenian Prime Minister replied, "4 billion."
Putin, disagreeing with his assessment, asked about the volume of trade turnover last year.
Pashinyan, however, answered, "9 billion dollars."
The Russian President emphasized that the volume of trade turnover between the two countries was higher both this year and last year.
