Russian President’s aide for international affairs, Yury Ushakov, commented on news circulating in foreign media about the phone conversation with the US President’s special representative, Steve Witkoff, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Ushakov stated that someone had leaked the content of such a conversation.
“I often speak with Witkoff, but the substance of the conversations is of a closed nature. Therefore, I do not comment on the conversations. No one should comment. Someone leaks, someone listens. But it is not us,” emphasized Putin’s aide.
Note that Bloomberg published the transcript of the phone conversation between Ushakov and Witkoff. During that conversation, it was noted that White House and Kremlin officials discussed the preparation of a plan related to Ukraine.
