Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent, APA reports, citing the press service of the President of Kazakhstan.
At the meeting, the heads of state discussed in detail the prospects for the further development of the Kazakh-Uzbek strategic partnership and alliance.
The presidents considered issues of strengthening cooperation in priority areas such as trade, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture, water resources, as well as interaction in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
Views were exchanged on topical issues of the regional and international agenda.
