The presentation of the movement "Mer dzevov" ("Our Way"), founded by imprisoned Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan, has been held, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
According to the information, the chairman of the movement’s coordination council, the businessman’s nephew, Narek Karapetyan, stated that the movement will be non-political and will bring together people who are ready to serve the country and society. The movement will unite people from different professions and social strata.
According to him, the establishment of the movement is the first stage. “At the second stage, however, a political party will be created, and this party will participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections,” Karapetyan said.
The head of the coordination council also stressed that representatives of the authorities have remained “yellow press journalists” instead of becoming statesmen.
