On August 26, a powerful explosion occurred on the Ryazan-Moscow main oil pipeline in the Ryazan region of Russia, sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense informed RBC-Ukraine, APA reports.
It was reported that after the explosion, a large-scale fire was recorded on the pipeline. There were also reports on social media posts about the city of Ryazan that a loud noise was heard at the scene.
A few hours later, emergency service brigades were deployed to the area and measures were taken to extinguish the fire.
It should be noted that the Ryazan-Moscow pipeline is one of the main infrastructure lines supplying the capital Moscow with oil products.
