Polish soldier Emil Chechko, who fled to Belarus, was found hanged in Minsk, informs Investigative committee, APA reports citing Perild.
According to the department, the police received a message that Chechko was found hanged at his place of residence in Minsk. An investigative-operational group has left for the place, which is now conducting an inspection and fixing the “trace picture”.
“To establish the exact cause of death, a forensic medical examination was appointed. The Investigative Committee is considering all possible versions of what happened, including the violent nature of death,” the Investigative Committee reported.
