The US's delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine will be a step towards escalation, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, President Vladimir Putin has announced Russia's position on the US delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine: "This will be a step towards escalation, but it will not change the situation for Kiev," the Kremlin spokesman emphasized.
Peskov added that Russia believes that Trump retains the will to facilitate a solution to the Ukrainian conflict through peace negotiations.
It should be noted that Trump has practically announced that he has made a decision on the delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.
