Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has once again confirmed that peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, APA reports, citing "Armenpress".
The Prime Minister stated in his speech at the Orbeli Forum that today there are success stories between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the beginning of which was the border demarcation process that started between the two countries in 2024.
"This marks a turning point in establishing interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as two countries have recognized each other’s territorial integrity based on the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration,” the Prime Minister said.
According to Pashinyan, the greatest success story was the peace summit held in Washington on August 8, 2025, which resulted in the adoption of a declaration and the initialing of an agreement on peace and the establishment of interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“Thus, peace was established between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan,” Nikol Pashinyan emphasized.
