On the occasion of the establishment of peace, I congratulate not only Armenia and Azerbaijan but all member states of the CIS, said the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, during his speech at the limited-format meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, APA reports.
During his speech, the Prime Minister informed his counterparts about the details of the Washington process and also thanked the CIS leaders for their support in achieving peace with Azerbaijan.
“This event is already a reality, and I congratulate all of us on this occasion. At the same time, I express my gratitude to you for the support you have provided throughout this period,” he emphasized.
Nikol Pashinyan said he hopes that a peace agreement with Azerbaijan will be signed in the near future. According to him, after that, the parties will face the tasks of establishing economic, political, and cultural ties and resolving humanitarian issues.
