There was only one country ready to sell weapons to Armenia until 2022: Russia. The rest of the countries refused to sell weapons to Armenia, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in parliament, APA reports, citing Armenpress.
“There was only one country ready to sell weapons to Armenia until 2022. Why didn’t they sell the rest? Because, according to them, there was no guarantee that we would use the weapons sold to us to protect our internationally recognized territory. Moreover, they said that they were sure that we would use them outside our internationally recognized territory, and this was unacceptable for them. This path was opened for us after we announced on October 6, 2022, that we recognized the territorial integrity of our country,” Pashinyan noted.
