Pashinyan comments on the possibility of Armenia's withdrawal from the CSTO

Armenia will take into account any decision by member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) regarding its withdrawal from the organization, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, Armenpress reports.

“I cannot comment on the CSTO issue. I know that there is a mechanism for expulsion from the CSTO, and it is functioning. If the member states decide to expel Armenia from the CSTO, we will have to take that decision into account. What else can we do?” Pashinyan noted.

It should be noted that yesterday Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the CSTO would consider the issue of Armenia’s possible expulsion from the organization.
